Meas Soksophea was born to a family of five on April 9, 1984. Her father’s name is Meas Sarim. He passed away when she was only 14. Her mother’s name is Sok Vilon who is now living with her. Her older brother Meas Rathanak is her important person in both her personal and career life. He was the one who influenced and motivated her to get into Khmer entertainment, and he is now acting as her agent. She has a younger brother Meas Vanthanak who got a degree in music from Vietnam.
Meas Soksophea was born in Kean Svay and went to DeyIt College. She had to quit school at 10th grade when her father was ill to help out take care of family business as she was the only girl in the family. Her mother made a living by selling rice and foods in a commune about 2 Km from where she lived.
